Android 7.0 is not available for umi plus E yet.

I got one replacement screen from Alibaba and guy who fixed the screen struggled to replaced it as the screen provided by them doesnt actually fit my UmiPlusE and he used some Glue to fit the screen.

​I have replaced three screens successfully in UMi Plus (not Plus E) purchased from AliExpress​. The screens need to be complete with LCD (not digitizer only), and I have found that the device needed to be running on 7, not 6. I fitted one screen in a 6 phone and the screen just showed lines, nothing identifiable. I refitted the original cracked-screen, managed to update to 7, removed this screen and refitted the new one and it worked fine. As the Plus E is still running 6, I would check with the supplier that your purchase will work on 6. I have some other posts on this topic if you search...

I bought UmiPlus E screen from AliExpress and it didn't fit properly. Waste of money guys buying Umi phones.

Hi Trev,

My UmiPlus E was on Android 6 and i was able to see the stripes clearly. After i repaired the phone, it again fall down on carpet and my phone receiver and charging port is not working.

I lost interested in this phone (UmiPlusE was good) and in Umi products so i got a Xioami Mi5 which is good. Screen is protected with Gorilla Glass 4 so need to worry that my phone will be broke if it falls from short distance.

Screen for umi plus and plus E is compatible so you can try Aliexpress

From last 8 months I'm using UMI PLUS E model mobile. I'm very happy with the performcnce, But one day suddenly my touch stopped working, I bought this mobile from dx.com, I raised the concerned with them, They redirected me to UMI community page. But not sure who will help on it. Can any one help on this
