Hi,
i just opened my UMI Z --> first take out the SIM-tray --> loose only the 2 screws beside the USB-C Port, then with a plastic tool, you can lift the display, be carefully..
now i had access to the camera  glass --> cleaned it --> wow good pics again..

I found also the the Laser focus module wasn't seated correctly --> you see in the pic "electronics inside" that is not correctly seated.

--> so i also took of that and adjusted it with the foam underneath.

The foam unde the focus module is also adjusting the camear module..
a very unstable construction...
If it is happening again to me, then i will fix the camera module completly with foam around...

I have also no more pulsating focus... maybe the laser focus i adjusted now.

Good luck for all, i will take no responsibility  for damages, who will try it by his own...

Beside that i also disconencted the battery shortly(5 minutes) --> on next turn on the battery lost 20%, --> charged it complelty --> lost within 4h of standBY only 1%

after 4h of StandBY

Many thanks Kaluschke for your photos and instructions!!!

Can you confirm if the duration of the battery has been improved?

That i can only say after 3-4 charging cycles..
--> so far i can say: it was not bad to do it.... 57% left with 1h47m SoT and 50minutes of PokemonGO...

Front Camera: that i did not touched.

Thanks for your feedback. I have to admit it is now very tempting to open the phone and unplug the battery for a few mins though I don't understand why it would improve the battery life

I hope this problem doesn´t affect all of the units. I mean software bugs can be squashed over time, but fixing a hardware issue is problematic. Especially when you have to send the phone all the way back to China. I am not sure I would be able to fix it the same way Kaluschke did. Anyway thank you for the information and pictures.

I would really like to hear the manufacturer's official opinion on this.
To reconnect the battery or not - that is the question now.

The battery "reconnecting" hack is only a beside effect, that can help, and you're sure, that every part on your phone is reset...
I would not give it so much on it, but also this night, the power consumption was not so high like some days before.

With the new update i will test more.

---> the focusing would be more the question..
The Laserfocus module reseating solved the pulsating issue...
