That's a resource file on needrom from UMi's laboratory but no to be officially released. Usually there are intermediate versions created between official (released) versions, it's a such one. I've created a flash tool package from the resources. You can try it if you want, it works properly. The UMi logo is changed to UMIDIGI and also the model name. It will be UMIDIGI Plus E in the future.

You can flash it without the user data.
I'm still waiting for the info about the next official update. An Android 7.x upgrade is not expected before the end of this spring, we're still waiting for the Helio P20 SDK from MediaTek.
Guys, Its OK as Ben says. No problem, be patience with Android 7. Iam lucky and satiesfied with UMI Plus E, with no problem. The latest 6.0.1 Android works great.
Most of devices run 4.xx versions and you want to have the latest one imediatelly ;-)

Gentlemen, be serious, I have UMI ever since the model UMI ZERO and always have been some problems, nothing has changed so far. And as for the android 7.0 is Samsung (SM-G615F) with the same SOC already has android 7.0
