Try to copy update file from SD card to PC and flash it with SPFT.

it seems they removed the update .. my system says up to date now  , i tried factory reset and still no update message for the v3.06 i believe it been pulled away ..

Interesting. Would nice to hear officially why it's been pulled.

I have a copy of the zip if anyone is desperate to try installing in some other way.

@ ronswanson hold to that file ,  i updated my phone to the last firmware version 20161101 . but honestly i do not see  much different , i still testing it , hopefully the right corner bug at touch screen will not show up .. until now the right corner works fine better than previous version .

tried to update again still showing the phone is damaged guess ill factory reset it

Hi there. I saw that you mentioned you had rooted the UMI Rome X. I have also rooted with Kingroot but now, the latest TWRP custom recovery image does not work with 3.05 due to kernel differences (new boot.img). If you do have a working TWRP/CWM/custom recovery image for the latest ROM version (3.05) PLEASE PLEASE give me a link to it or email it me or ...

I urgently need this unless I have to then go and compile it from source myself. Why not save the hassle even though I can do it?
