Looks bad... I tried to flash the old rom completely and also tried flashing only the old preloader, but to no avail

Is the original preloader unavailable due to copyright reasons? This is very unfortunate

And what happened when you flash older rom to your device?

Use oldest rom uncheck cache and user memory. I don't understand why you still trying flash just preloader!

I tried to flash the first rom and rebooted after each flash

• Only Preloader
• Everything
• Everything except cache and user
  

Always the same result :-( Everything seems to work except the touchscreen. Buttons are working (Volume and Power), but without touchscreen I don't get further than the language selection screen, of course.

I even tried TWRP recovery to check if the touchscreen didn't work there, too. I could boot into recovery (VolUp+Power) no problem, but the result was the same

Definitely touch drivers are missing because umi used two different touch suppliers. You need report this issue to umi service. Hopefully they send correct driver to you. If you have OTG adapter you can use computer mouse to check your phone or if they send to you zip file with software you can update as OTA.
Probably you need wait few weeks to get correct drivers.

Could you tell me what is happening when you touch screen? Are you getting any feedback?

Hi MarcinP,

the touchscreen does not give me any kind of feedback at all. The display itself is fine and I can see everything, but the touch functionality is more or less gone. I contacted UMI and they are already working on an solution - hopefully they can get it to work again...

It is updated on 28.11.2016 through the air but I have an error packet can not properly load, low speed, say when there will be firmware release from 28.11.2016 SPFT????
