Negative comments are still allowed here and there are a lot of them left in place. Offending and intentionally misleading words are still not.
My questions are still open to be answered. Or if you can't, please don't demand with rude and dishonest words from UMI to resolve an issue, that no one of the competitors resolved and what is not a real issue in fact.

Thank you,
Bence

There are 3 reasons to update the firmware.
Google provide every month security patches.

The 3 reasons are:
- security
- security
- and security

And maybe: what about Android 6 ???

Yes, for they contracted partners. Please get through the whole thread. There are no smartphones built with MediaTek processors that receives the Google security updates while those security issues don't mean real dangers.
Since I might be wrong of course, I asked you to mention a counterexample if you know about an MTK phone that receives those security patches.
This thread is about UMi Touch, that's shipped with Android 6.0.

Guys,

I have had it after being away and now reading these posts again!

I have the Touch and it is running fairly well. Camera is still the worst I have ever experienced in many years. Too much compression or something is going on.

But after having my brother and friend moving to the Super on my advice and reading the way we are treated here I have to conclude:
- we get a cheap Phone and a fairly good value for it; which is exactly what we all could expect for the money
- we get no substantial support and only in the early launch months there is some fixing and that will be it
- dare I to mention the sales pitch which was actually the reason for me to buy this Phone for business usage: Windows 10 promise....
- last but not least, I appreciate the basic support which helps every now and then but the smart ... responses and sensorship on this forum are really a turn down, which ...

... made me decide: I will keep using the UMI for now but seeing the loads of issues with the Super as well, I will move to the Oneplus 3 in a couple of months when I can declare Phone expenses. No expensive Iphones or Samsung for me anymore but also no cheap phones like UMI which can not keep you supported. I will find my future phones in the middle price segment.
