I suggest you to give some charging cycles (at least 5) to the battery before testing and use a feature specific app like GSam Battery Monitor for watching the battery usage.

If we talk about the screen unlock function, the fingerprint sensor works pretty well since the latest (v3.03-160415) update. 10 out of 10 attempts is successful at me if I'm enough careful. Unfortunately, due to the many kinds of different types and structures of human skins, a such sensor can't work with the same efficiency at everybody. For those who have problems with the reliability of the fingerprint sensor, I suggest to ask another person (different gender or younger age if you're an elder one) to test it with his/her own finger(s).

Have a good one,
Bence

about the drain i see 2 different problems:

1 - telephone idle: very hight drain but i don't know why for now ; i still looking into (maybe the governor? )

2- WI-FI drain : the drain is not imputable to the wifi system but abnormal consumption of the "radio system" ; if you switch off all the 2 sims card the power drain is very low instead you have wifi on and connected.
so... problem into problem:
first- i don't think that the 2g/3g/4G comsumpion must be counted into wifi consumption  ;need to solve
second - i think that probably the drain is a direct consequence of the poor reception of the umi touch radio system; the output power is directly connected to the received signal... so low incoming signal > more power out > more drain !

can you verify my ideas?

Hi, I have a simple question, Does the battery is compatible with the UMI Touch 4000 mAh, in other words, can I change the original battery from my UMI ROME for the UMI Touch Battery?

@all

I´m having no problems with my Battery, but i´m having several other issues with my device

The 1st think I did once I got my Touch was to let the battery drain til 15%, than charge it til 100%, then I let the device draining the battery really slowly (display timepout after 30 sec, only wlan on), again
til 10%, I repeated the same procedure the whole week, than (due to the wall charger failure) I used a 2A wall charger and charged it til 100%

I already tried to use intensively the device (from 6 am til 23 pm) and stress it by playing mkv videos (via kodi), stream youtube videos in hd all by using a WLAN/BT headset, meanwhile GPS, and at the end of the day, my battery still shows 70%

So forgot to mention that I installed (before all the charging and discharging procedure I mentioned above) this sw on the device:

https://play.google.com/store/ap ... inos.dxbs&hl=de

Hope this can help you

Best Regards

Fréd

Hi I installed GSAM battery monitor as well and started monitoring the battery consumption. Wifi stays on always and consumes a lot of battery even with the setting to switch wifi of when not charging and in standby mode. Further investigation shows the real standby power drain: the device is always on en not asleep!! Even with Greenify and other tools, it does not go in doze mode!

Any ideas? I do miss the doze settings and white list in the battery section in settings which is available in my LG G4 MM?

After tightening the screws, the all time turned on WiFi consumes only 3% of battery power on my device through a 25-hour-long period. I'm going to share some screenshots when my phone becomes nearly exhausted.

I noticed a 14% decrease in battery having the phone over night with no WIFI available. It seems to drain more than other phones, which implies sloppy or no optimization done to Android and the hardware. Maybe it is also related to 6.0 being on the phone and not 6.0.1.

Perhaps the WIFI driver needs further optimizations? I don't know but I can say this is high. I compared it with a Samsung A5 and other phones which drop 1-2% when over night in idle.

With well connected antennas (refer to my post, that I linked above) the WiFi module consumes negligible power. However, even with beside an almost 4-hour-long screen-on time and the excessive usage of antutu benchmark, the mediaserver of the system was responsible for 30% of the consumed battery power. So the system needs some optimization here and everything will be fine.

Update to latest FOTA V3.03-20160423. Problems seem to have been resolved.
