to fix it dont use wep encryption use WPA/WPA2 instead and the problem is solved

This may be router/AP related. I also have this problem with a netgear repeater (using WPA2 and am on latest firmware), but on other routers I don't have  a problem.

Hi,  my UMI TOUCH is only able  to obtain max wifi download speeds of 5mbps,  where as  my LG G2 can acheive download speeds from same network and location at 40mbps.  Please advise how to acheive full network bandwidth speeds at the specified N  and N 5ghz rated wifi phone module.
