I'm afraid, those three issues are the ones related to the hardware design. That's the reason because any firmware updates couldn't solve or improve them more. And of course, if tweaking the firmware can not give you any more benefit, then there's no reason to provide further updates.

So if hardware design are causing issues, that means that the Iron is a defective device, then warranty claims should be listened. (OK, I know they won't...)

Not obviously. Those are more like quality issues rather than defections.
1. I saw a lot of brilliant photos taken by UMI Iron phones, so this model cannot be generally defective. From here I can't decide if the camera is really defective at some users or they just too clumsy for proper use. That's their responisibility to claim for a replacement if they're sure about that defection.
2. The slow USB is annoying but if it works anyway, then that cannot obviously be treated as a defection.
3. The clicking sound is typically a quality issue, not a defection.

I've never had a UMI Iron in hand, so I don't have any personal opinions about its quality, so you can't agree with me.
I bought an HTC One X in April 2012. Although at that moment that phone was HTC's flagship device and the highest performance smartphone of the world, there were visible yellow spots on its screen and a lot of users faced the same issue. So that phone was a low quality product... or not.
I really appreciate your opinion but please don't play with the words (don't be a troll) or you might reduce the value of your own thoughts.

Hi Bencebacsi,

I understand what you mean. To me, as of now, I'm ok with it, coz as long as the USB work (although sometime I was abit annoy with the slow speed, especially when I wan to transfer my backup file and pic to my pc) and I can hear from the other party when I make call and talk with the handfree (yup, sometime the click sound will cover the sound of the other party, but this won't happen if I didn't use the handfree). I was kind of hoping they can solve those issue and make it a better phone, but if this is the case, I can live with it.

I'm not trying to give you any problem, and I do understand that you are not Umi staff, just wanted to let you know our opinion here.

I am sorry to say this (especially that I really like my UMI Iron as a device) but choosing my new phone I turn to Acer or some other REALLY BIG company, that CAN handle some REAL support of their products.

Dear, we won't update our andriod vesion to Marshmallow,  but we will improve our software and revise the bugs continuouslly, which depends on customers' feedback.

Hello,

Just for remember, the USB issue is not hardware because the OTG drivers are fully functionnal in USB 2.0.
So, for me, the usb connector is good considering this fact.
