Hey guys i really hope im at the right addresse here, if not please forward me..
I have an Umi Hammer with Android 4.4.4 and most things are working, but since some days i experience some problems with the mobile internet:
Im Form germany and i normally do have a Vodafone 4G sim card in the miniSIM slot which worked pretty well, now im in vacation in spain and switched that card with a masmovil SIM with 3G, now when i use my mobile Internet connection the following happens:
First there is no problem and i have full signal strenght, i have 3G and it says H. I have up and down arrow showing data is sent, but after a few moments (between 30 seconds or less and 5 minutes) the connection drops, meaning that for example in my Browser no more sites are loaded (it doesnt work then in no other APP aswell) but still it says 3G with H and the both arrows indicating that data is being sent... When i disable 3G/4G in the settings and switch to 2G it works perfectly. When i switch back it works again for some periode of time and then stops working. I tried the SIM in other devices and didnt experience any problems like that? 3G works there without any issues....
Please help me!!!

Yep, sorry, meant roaming. Activating "roaming" on the phone should stabilise your data connection. It won't result in any excess charges, as long as you only use the masmovil sim while you are in Spain and stay on their network.

Hopefully this helps you out!

Hi elitegeil. Couple of questions...
- Have you tried checking that your APN is set to: internetmas
- Can you make phone calls fine?
- What other devices had you tried?

Hopefully we can find a solution for you!

Try Resetting once! I guess that might help!

Next thing to check... Go to "mobile data" in the Hammer's settings menu and make sure that "itinerance" is activated.

Hmmm... I'll see if I can find something else. It's a little odd, given your 3G works fine in Germany so it sounds like there might be a network issue rather then a phone issue. There isn't a frequency issue with the Hammer in Spain. Have you done a power cycle on the phone since switching on roaming?
