after the public promise made to reserve 1000 pieces available to the first candidates
were recorded and made the order on 17th February ... they have passed only 100 pieces
reserved to candidates selected by them?

Hey guys . I see you are all confused . There where 1000 invitations spread around the shops . Some of them they had 100 invitations/promo codes , think Tomtom had the most. I have received code from tomtop so managed to order the phone for 109$. But I have applied on all the partners websites and also asked my friend to apply for me , and my gf so maybe that's why I managed to get one

Unfortunately I didn't really follow this campaign but to sell a thousand pieces smartphones much under their real price doesn't seem to be an executable offer. Not even a giant company like Samsung or Apple would process a such campaign. Are you sure, did you understand well the details of this campaign? Even that 100 pcs. seems to be quite an honorable offer from a such small company like UMI.
