uMIDIGI AFTERSALES SERVICE IS THE PITS.
NO MICROPHONE WORKING AFTER TWO MONTHS KEEP GETTING PUSHED FROM ALIEXPRESS TO UMIDIGI,NO ONE TAKING RESPOSIBLITY FOR THE CUSTOMER.

The microphone doesn't work on my phone any more so I cannot make phone-calls.  Can anybody help, please.

Yeah I also put in a ticket and still no response after nearly a month. Shame on them, going back to my F1 whilst I wait to buy a new phone.

Is there any function or something that disables the fingerprint reader? Since it doesn't work. Since this overheats the power button too much.

Hi there,

I've had the same issues - put a dispute in with AliExpress or whoever you bought the device from and put a dispute in - Umidigi will be forced to act that way.

If that then fails, contact your Credit Card company and ask for a transaction reversal due to faulty product and show them the evidence of you attempting to contact the sellers.

I haven't tried the fingerprint but my night light schedule does not work - at least not using Sunset to sunrise. The night light stays constantly on or off.

If microphone stops working, specially on WhatsApp calls / sending audio messages: it seems to be a bug not on the phone, but at the new app named "Google". Once automatic updates are allowed on your phone, Google Play will try to replace old app named Google Go by the new app named Google version 10.92.10.21.arm64 - dated March 05th. 2020. Once uninstalled, mic will perform properly again.

Please be aware that affects not only VOIP/call microphone, but also prevents any sound recording.

I was having this mic problem on my 2 Umidigi F2 just received, all of them running latest non-EU firmware. After uninstalling Google new app, both started to work again. Later, i did a factory reset. After all system was reinstalled, Google Play asked (as usual) to update/install many Google apps. At that time, i said NO to automatic update and updated each and one app at a time. After updating, i run a mic test sending an audio through whatsapp and sometimes, a short Sound Recording test. All apps were updated, but not Google version 10.92.10.21.arm64 - dated March 05th. 2020, and everything worked like a charm (specially mic behaviour) until that moment. NO RESTART OR SHUT OFF. Then, i performed a test: updated Google Go to Google version 10.92.10.21.arm64 - dated March 05th. 2020. Had no problem, mic working properly on both phones.

After ALL apps were updated and keeping WIFI turned on (to connect it right after rebooting), decided to RESTART (not shut off+power on) both phones in order to test and... again, no problem at all.

Finally, i decided to shut them off and power them on only 5 minutes later (in order to wipe any remnant software instruction on phone memory) and... SUCCESS! MICROPHONE IS WORKING ON BOTH PHONES.

I'm not sure what or why installing on THIS order prevented of mic problems, but if the experience I had could help other... why not sharing? Hope it helps someone of you.

Hello, I have the Umidigi F2 and i have the same problem. My fingerprint sensor stopped working this morning and it does not work since then. I tried to contact directly with umidigi but in the technical support section they ask me to put the order number of the product; i put it and they say that it is empty. I dont know what to do. I lso tried to contact with them with another method but they ask me to send them a mtklog, but i cant do that with my Umidigi F2. Help please.
