F1 restart itself

I also have a random reebot issue, my phone reebots after every 30 minutes during long calls. I will try the re-flash as suggested when I get time and let you know if fixed.

I also had this issue. I had to go into Google settings and switch off voice assistant. before my earpiece could work again.

Google app> more> settings> voice> voice match> switch everything off except while driving. Restart your phone

Is there any update on that front?

I just received the phone and I have the random restart issues. I don't want to flash it just yet, is the fix not available via FOTA yet? How does the release cycle work, you publish ROMs first and after a while it's available via FOTA?

Generally you receive upgrade before you can find here any information. What is your firmware?

If you have already flashed the firmware and the issue is still there, probably the problem is caused by hardware failure.
If you have not already flashed the firmware, try to do that following the instructions you find here:

Hello,

Hello, I am really happy with the design of the phone and the Performance when
it's running properly, but the Software is horrible.

I flashed the new latest ROM "UMIDIGI_F1_V1.0_20190125_20190316-1139" to my phone. but since yesterday evening something crashed my phone. I wanted to listen to Music with Bluetooth, then the Pinterest app crashed. And then I tried to uninstall that app, but after couple seconds it did a reboot. And now it do a reboot after maybe 30 seconds of using. It doesn't matter what I am doing with it, even when I Format the phone or Flash a new Rom, it is always in the same state after booting. The Flash tool give me the message that everything was ok in the Flash procedure. I tried hours, but it stacks in its specific state, whatever I do in the 30 seconds until the OS crashed, it's undone after the reboot, even I do a reboot by my own before the OS crashes. Do anyone know such a case like I described?

It seems that that the eeprom is not writable anymore

My gripe with Umidigi F1 is ram management. When I open a bunch of apps (let's say 4 or more), and switch between them, the apps have to refresh/reload, and go back to the same spot, or the top of that page, or even back to the main page of the app. These memory issues happen with apps like YouTube, Messages, Spotify, WhatsApp, most of my shopping and banking apps. I have battery saver turned off, and DuraSpeed turned off as well. We need an update to solve this memory issue please.

Hi, do you have any 3rd party app that clean RAM or cache?
Have you tried to enable developer options and check the function "App" -> "Don't save activity". It must be off.
Check also "background process limit" and put it off.

Battery Saver: OFF
DuraSpeed: OFF
3rd party ram apps: NO
App > Don't keep activity: OFF
App > Background process limit: Standard Limit

There is no "OFF" for Background process limit. The options are:
- Standard Limit
- No Background Process
- at most 1 process
- at most 2 processes
- at most 3 processes
- at most 4 processes

So I have every setting in the correct order but still..
