Hi i know this isnt a thread for my problem but i was hoping someone could help me figure out why i cant get my sim card to work with the phone? i just got it and am really bummed that it wont work.
I know it's Chinese new year that's why my order of my F1 isn't being processed that fast. Once it comes ill enjoy it replacing my huawei honor 8 pro lol. Yeah I replace a honor 8 pro with umidigi f1. Since at least umidigi is more friendly to bootloader unlock and modification these days. Now mines already unlocked honor 8 pro but still it sucks badly since audio modification won't work

I assume you need to be more specific. What sim do you try with? Did you select correct phone type when ordered so bands would be compatible? For best help more details need to be told.

Please return EngineerMode.apk to the next firmware. Can you upload EngineerMode.apk for F1 here?
I assume engineering mode will need to be built for specific firmware. Your best choice would be to try get it from one max. But to spare you some time I'll look into it and deodex the apk if possible
Sorry i should have given more info, i tried with a metro pcs sim in california and i bought the phone off of amazon from umidigi, there was only one version but it listed all of the bands here.
Ok again i should have been more specific. Ive tried both slots, both slots show up with my sim card and they show my number but it wont let me connect to a network so no calls or texts or data.
Just got ahold of metro and they had my sim card locked to ONE phone. crazy i never heard of such a thing. They did fix it though, and now im loving my phone. umidigi rocks
