Today came a new version of the update: 20181013-1247. After a successful system update, the microphone problem persists. microphone on voice calls - DOES NOT WORK. How to deal with a faulty phone? How to get warranty service?
can you post this somewhere else - like a new topic or even a related one maybe? , the blank screen issue and pin issue is totally spamming the internet/search results for this device and people incorrectly posting on wrong topics does not help anyone.
I am seeing this issue now as well. Has anyone figured out if this is software or hardware failure? I went into recovery diagnostic menu and did an "item test" and selected "Mic-Spk loopback."
loopback ( main mic - speaker ) Test FAIL
loopback (ref mic - speaker) Test PASS
Microphone doesn't work for phone calls or Google search however sound recorder is able to record.
I too am experiencing the microphone issue. There was a recent wireless update but the issue still persists. I emailed my IMEI and wireless update to the email address at the start of this thread but got no response (over two weeks ago).
Can I PM the details instead as this issue renders this phone useless to me??
