Do you lose your Apps and Settings if you flash it via SPFT? If so, do you lose them anyway with OTA Update?

You don't lose your apps and settings with SPFT if you uncheck the userdata partition (last in the list) before starting the flashing process. Just get through the flash tool tutorial, please.
OTA updates never wipe user data.

I'm sorry but the EngineerMode is removed by Google's request but it was not even present in any earlier software versions of the Z2 Pro.
