If you want a fast phone you should pick one with a Qualcomm cpu instead of one with Mediatek.  Mediatek is cheaper by about $100 on phone with similar spec to Qualcomm.

Many of your s2 pro shortcomings do feature in my s2 pro.  My judgement of s2 pro is relative to other brands similar to UMI like Vernee Apollo.  I know one can get a better phone by buying Samsung but I prefer to move with the technology changes at fraction of the price of the big brands.

I was one of the first buyers for a OnePlus One. It works for 4 years now and I need only a new phone because the battery is down. It was my best phone I buy ever.
Today I have checked if mobile payment is working: it works
Anyway: I think I buy a new OnePlus 6 when the problems will not fixed soon

Any word on an update for this issue? I'd hate to have to return a phone with so much promise because the manufacturer abandoned it before it could take off.

New firmware is here but I hate to learn all of these flash stuff.

I'm still trying to flash a clean asop rom instead of using umi's rom.

Please install any recording app and try record voice. If you are able record your voice, then you have hardware fault and you need contact to seller for replacement.

I agree. Mine has problems to, the bigest is overheating. When overheats shutts off. It dont't happend always, so how can I send it back? Umidigi never again.

Proof of fake 2nd cam! In nova launcher prime you can add a "activities" widget which allows you to make shortcuts to all kinds of hidden features, control and testing options. Those can not be found in android os normally
