I would be very happy if UMIDIGI re-installs a notification LED on the next devices and does not use a Notch.
The devices now have such a large screen that the Notch brings no real benefits.
Everyone simply copies Apple and refers to 90% screen-to-body ratio.
These values only bring advantages on paper (marketing).
Some manufacturers show that you can get a large screen-to-body ratio even without Notch.
Samsung Galaxy S9+, HTC U12+,...

Thanks for this information.
However, the UMIDIGI One and One Pro are not devices that could make me happy.
I think this is a beginner model.
I have higher expectations from a smartphone.
A good camera (day and night shots) is the most important feature for me.

Here is my experience with Z2. U can't hide the notch. Even if U remove the clock in the left corner -or battery icon- of the status bar with UI tuner, U won't have any other icons on display. The only way to see all notifications icons is to pull down the status bar.

That there is no support in Europe and the devices are only supplied with updates for a short time makes me very worried.
