So far my umi S2 pro is working great without any ads, all adware destroyed or disabled.
I installed PLAY store app Addons Detector.
I disabled autoupdate for Umi Store apps, I disabled autoupdate for Google PLAY store for apps.
I disabled autoupdate for phone system update.
I disabled and froze the Theme umi app because antivirus detects a trojan riskware addon to it.
I disabled the QuickTouch app permissions, notifications, draw over permission.
I replaced TouchPal keyboard with PLAY store Google keyboard and disabled TouchPal permissions, draw over, etc.
I replaced umi messaging app with Pulse messaging app.
I use Chrome and Brave browsers instead of umi browser.
I froze most of the stock umi apps in the "freezer" app that comes with the phone.
I have Malwarebytes premium running.

Phone is nice now, $300 alternative to $800 Samsung Galaxy S8
