Yes, I think these are the right words.
And I understand that it can void the warranty.
When I (we ?) ask about root, I know all about the possible consequences to do that.
But you have to know that without rooting my device, I can't recover most of specific applications data of my old phone.
Without rooting my phone, I can't tweak it the way I want, it's a big part of android world, even if most users don't need that or don't care about that.
Ignoring this fact will make umidigi rejected by the community, and the community is the beating heart of Android.
Most manufacturers (samsung, huawei, Yota ... just take a look at the TWRP Team page) let us the choice to root our phone or not.
Perhaps it voids the warranty, and so ? That's my responsabilty. If I brick my phone, I won't make umidigi responsible for that.
I think locking your system isn't the better way to make umidigi a good and respected manufacturer in the android world.
I like a lot my S2 pro, but today, can I recommend someone to buy it ?
