hi,
it's very hot problem, my UMI S2 not working band gsm and data? The seller is Gearbest. I'am testing the update OTA and not resolved my situation.

What's the problem, hardware and software?

I can't diagnose your device remotely.
You should check sim card and sim card settings.
About mobile data please activate data roaming if you using third party network and set APN (settings - more - mobile networks - data roaming / access point names)  some network providers not supporting 2G or supporting only certain bands.
You need compare your network bands to phone specifications from here

Please test with different USB cable. Also please check in USB connector and in USB port for alien objects. Then push fully USB connector in to port.
Please provide some details about charging process as :how long charging will take, does charge and phone gets warm etc

I cant post my own topic, I have an s2, Ive tried using a computer to restore the phone, Ive tried factory resets, Im getting nowhere with the people I bought the phone from. my display works, but it starts flashing off and on and displays a bunch of blue randomly. any help?

Please upload video and provide link here with your problem.
You can open calling dialler and type in *#*#33#*#* single test and test back light, LCD, etc
