Hi,
The second vesion of this model (as planned) will be released with Andorid 7.0 baased UMI OS ouf of the box but the current version will not receive Android 7.0 upgrade.

will it be the same UMI OS like you get it with the UMIDIGI S?

Because the result of a test of the UMIDIGI S says this to the UMI OS:

"Unfortunately, the rabbit is buried in the software. The first negative point here is that the virus scanner finds malware. The second point is the news widget, which always shows new news incl. advertisements and cannot be removed. The last point that finally breaks Umidigi S's neck is the elimination of a change of launcher. The firmware does not allow you to set a user interface other than Standard Launcher. For this reason, we advise against buying. At least until an update provides a remedy. Umidigi has simply messed up too much with the software.

@Altbe,
i know well that all chinese firmware have many mistakes inside...but i will made new custom rom with all my tricks and the device will be great !

did the first batch already out to gearbest and others?
I have preordered the Umidigi S2 on Gearbest but Gearbest says due to too many orders my order is back ordered meaning they are out of stocks so they told me that it will take Oct 15-20 to restock the S2 and process the shipment....so if they are again shipping (after the first preorder in Sep 15 or so) then this (after Oct 15th onwards) will that be S2 with android 7.0 (second batch)? or this is the first ever batch with the android 6.0? What batch of S2 will gearbest ship us if it is after Oct 15th, first batch or the second?

Please let me know so I can change my order to S2 pro which i really loved..

Exactly the same problem I have also ordered, and now I have to read that it will not run with android 7, my umi super runs top with android7 also came with the 6 to me and umi has new firmwar regrouped and now is at one neger device is no longer so I have just Gearbest_support attributed the if it is not upgrade bar I will immediately resign from the purchase. buy me not a new mobile phone and am at the end of the depp .echt if umi the so it is a bunch customers lose, then I can buy my mobile in future also with aldi or norma. And it says so far not what the 1st or 2 char is synonymous stands nirgens .zum beep is the slow ..

Hi Bencebacsi, I know this is in the wrong section but I need to know as soon as possible and you seem to be someone who would be able to take this problem in the right direction. My screen is broken, as in the digitiser does not work, and I need to buy a new screen. Is there anywhere you know of where I can purchase a screen replacement for the Umidigi Z1 Pro or what the model of the screen is or even any Amoled displays for different phones that will fit fine. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I'm sorry but replacement (OLED) screen for the Z1 Pro is not available on the market, since it would be too expensive ($100 or more) as a spare part. That kind of screen is way more expensive than a conventional LCD screen.

After yesterday I got my umi-s2 and it has already set up, I can say what.
1.processing perfectly
2.super fast
3.frimware catastrophe android 6 for a new mobile phone first developed and fresh from the factory.
4..bluetooth goes back after every restart even though before
5.notifications led a bad joke, so small and almost not watch next to the earphone, looks like with my s3 if no original firmware on it is a small point in the mü area.
6.Not any app running on it eg KBELL door cam
7.wlan goes only 5 gigaherz at 2.4 only theater
8. roming should also not run abroad <read only
and that with a new and with old softly equipped cell phone, I would have known before what I would have expected I had never bought the phone at the price, I find umi goes 4 steps back instead of 2 before. bin arg disappointed of the phone especially 2 umi super here and everything goes perfectly.
I expect the android 7 to follow and that also this year and then the diewersen errors are corrected or will be. We are customers who participate a lot but it should already be in the frame and not that we are so ausgethlicht pulled. I always thought umi can rely on you it is a top handy but man never learns from .umi should prefer to build a little less new cell phone and for the firmware what do what uses the most beautiful handy if the software is shitty.

in this sense <is my opinion and many more also an offense to the company
