Camera problem - Incredibly poor quality at the front camera

Okay, I reported this issue to UMI, but it seems to be a specific hardware defection of the camera lens mechanism, that prevents the camera to focus at far distance, not a general or software related issue.
András, on your first photo (with the VW bug) the center is sharper just because that's closer. On other photos the whole scene is blurred and the farther, the more blurry.
So, I'm almost sure, your phones need a hardware repair. Maybe that's enough just to adjust the lens, but that even might be needed to replace the whole camera module.
You should contact your reseller to solve this issue under warranty.

Thank you so much for your kind answer. I contacted the reseller, they will try to solve it. Anyways, the microphone is not loud enough, or I don't know but all the people who speak with me says that I'm too quiet. What's the problem here?

I have the exact same problem that you have, focus doesn't work and i know a couple of people in spain that have reported the same problem on spanish forum...

The same problem here! (Also v 1.5) and appart from being blurred it seems that photos are too noisy. Close photos are more or less OK, but when you try to get a middle distance photo the quality is so bad... I know the camera is good enough so it has to do with a software problem. I hope UMI will take it into account

Both can be an assembling issue. The reason of the mic problem can be that mentioned in this topic. If not that's the problem, then the mic level can be adjusted in EngineerMode.
Both problems should be investigated to get exact answers, but I don't have a such phone in hand.

btw I found an app, called "MTK Engineer", and here I can set many things. Anyone can use this? I can set mic, and camera settings there too. are you know it Bence?
