Are you comparing umi super with Android 7?
Don't forget about completely different and way stronger SoC in Z Pro.

Which system is used for me is not decisive.
I've used my UMI Super with Android 6 because it's broken before a working Android 7 version has appeared.
Also, the processor used must not cause such large differences.
With a good software the power consumption of a strong processor can be regulated.

thanks for the update. I haven't had any batterie issue so far and can use it for a day without going below 15% at the end of the day, so i guess im a lucky one.
However i considered buying the z1 pro, cause its thinner, but getting worse specs for more money is defnetly no option

Here's an example of the battery issue. I hardly used the phone all day and it went down to 37%. I used the phone for 24 minutes and the battery went down to 23%.

I have the exact same issue with my battery on the Z Pro

Now my 4th phone is crashing in the same way as the 2nd phone (flashing grey screen) which results in random reboots. I'm done with Umidigi for a while, I'm going to send back all 4 phones and buy a Pixel.

Who buys cheaply, in the end usually paid more.
Instead of four UMIDIGI smartphones you could have bought one or two really good brand devices.
