I'm having the same problem. When I connect my phone to the charger (the original), nothing happens, except for the blinking red light in the top corner. The same thing happens when I connect it to the PC or to another charger. I can not turn it on nor can I enter the recovery mode. The blinking will not stop after 15 minutes. What should I do?

Hello.

I accidentally dropped my Umidigi Z Helio X27 in a toilet yesterday on the evening.

Today I disassembled it full, dried up and assembled it back. When I was doing it, I didn't see any rust or something unusual.

The phone and its "entrails" are absolute dry.

Now, I can't turn it on. Just happenes nothing. The bootloader menu doesn't work too - I can't enter into it.

When I charge the phone, the charge led is blinking red and display led (the backlight) turns on for 35 sec and turns off automatically after that and then it happens again without any text\logo\etc.

What could it be? The short circuit?

The phone charges around 1 hour already and the charge led is still blinking red and that 'thing' about display led happens too.

The video is here.
The display led turns on at 9th second and turns off at 44th second.

My UMI Z has similar symptoms. It doesn't turn on at all.
If I put it on the charger, the red light keeps blinking, even when I charged it for 8 hours.
My PC cannot see the phone at all (drivers are not installed though).
I disconnected the battery, to check it with my multimeter. I measured 4.2V on the battery. I also measured the port on the phone where the battery can be connected, again it is 4.2V when the charger is plugged in and the battery is disconnected.
Long press on volume UP or DOWN and POWER buttons do nothing.

I noticed that my original charger cable has a contact problem somewhere along the wire. I was charing my phone overnight, with this bad cable, and in the morning, I couldn't turn on the phone. I did the above experiments with a good cable.
