I live in the UK and I never buy from the official retailers, this is because its such a hassle to get any problems sorted out.
This can also prove expensive when return shipping is included.I buy from eBay,through an English importer.that way,if anything goes wrong, its
cheaper to post back, shipping time is much shorter and purchases are backed by eBay guarantee.I have a two umi phones, both purchased in UK and both are bug and problem free.

I wouldn't even know how to open the Plus E? The thing is, I don't even think the screen is the issue because the stripes kind of "fade", they come and go. They always come on really strongly when I turn the screen on or switch to a different "page" within the phone, then after a second they fade out and are barely there but a halo all around the screen. This makes me think it's some kind of hardware issue? I have done all the resets and flushing etc

His display is not broken but rather has stripes that are manufacturing defects. These $ 20 display are junk, have no quality and are also a lottery.

My phone also has the stripes and I will activate my insurance and guarantee after the summer.
