Hi, I didn't reflash the stock rom yet, but yesterday I recived the notification for a new firmwar ...

My personal opinion. Not responsible if you lose data/brick your phone.

Like I said previously, it will still be the same as long as you take the OTA. A flash/factory reset (in recovery mode) wipes the system and provides a "clean installation".

In any case, what I would normally do to self help is to back up my data, do a factory reset iin recovery menu,n the set up the phone again like NEW (meaning I would not let Gooogle re-install any backed up app. The problem may (OR may not) lie within some app).

Painful and time consuming no doubt. But if nothing else works, this is my last resort.

My bad.. Didn't see your reply before posting..

Last resort is to factory reset from recovery mode.

Firstly, know how to get to recovery mode... Can you do that? I'm assuming that there's nothing you need to recover so after this we go to straight reset from recovery mode.
