Hello, My Bison 2020 screen stopped working and all the replacement screens I could find would not respond to touch so I followed the tutorial here and installed the UMIDIGI_BISON_V1.0_20230330 ROM version. It worked but now I have a message in red lettering permanently across my screen that says: The software version is incorrect, please download the correct software.
How do I solve this? Should I have selected a different ROM like UMIDIGI_BISON_V1-0_20221018 for instance?

Great walkthrough! Flashing with SP Flash Tool feels a bit like decoding Morse code—every step has to be precise, and one wrong signal can throw everything off. Clear instructions like these make the whole process much smoother

If you're facing issues with flashing your UMIDIGI smartphone using the SP Flash Tool, make sure to follow the steps carefully, especially when selecting the correct ROM and flashing mode. Always back up your data before proceeding with any flashing process, as it might erase your user data. If you encounter any problems, try reinstalling the drivers or using a different USB port.

change another USB line, I finally do it.

Solved: SP Flash Tool error at md1img / STATUS_DOWNLOAD_EXCEPTION (0xC0050003)

My device had a flashing error during "downloading md1img" in SP Flash Tool, with:
STATUS_DOWNLOAD_EXCEPTION (0xC0050003)

In my case, the problem was NOT the ROM package or the flashing tool itself.
The real cause was the USB cable.

Fix:
- I replaced the USB cable with another proper data cable
- Then flashing worked normally

So if anyone gets stuck at md1img with 0xC0050003, please try:
1. Change to another USB data cable
2. Use a direct USB port on the computer
3. Avoid low-quality or charge-only cables

This solved the problem for me.
