Friends, I'm not a geek nor a noob.. If you're brave enough to do SPFT flash, you would be surprised.

I've SPFT flashed a few times.. The pain is DON'T reinstall previous apps "as is".. Set up as a new device.
For what I paid, despite issues, I get my money's worth.. If you feel it's not worth it, do what @Bencebasi said. Sell it. But I add that you buy a "flagship" Samsung, Sony, etc...

I'm not defending Umidigi but for the last 3 years, I'm experimenting with China brands. Whether they can make it or not depends on customer support

I'm not from China, but there's a Chinese saying that's equivalent to "what you paid is what you got".

I'm happy enough as long s Umidigi tells me that "we acknowledge the issues and are sitting in on it". No one's perfect but that's also not an excuse..

I made the installation via OTA of android 7.1.1, I realized something, the cell phone even being stopped consumes a lot of energy.
I leave it turned off after taking the night out and the 100% full charge (I do not trust to leave the night in the socket, it goes that my battery greenhouse rsrs) and when I call it in the morning is already about 89% detail I do not I used it in no time.

I think the repairs could start there, the cellphone consumes a lot of battery unused, this is tragic in view of its enormous potential.

If you connect audio speakers via bluetooth фnd then turn on the YouTube using wifi then the sound will tear! If you do not connect the bluetooth speaker then the sound will work well. If you turn on the music that is recorded in the phone's memory and broadcast it to the bluetooth speaker, then everything will also work well. This also needs to be fixed. Thanks

The Funktion of double tap to wake up comes in the next Update? The rest works very fine. I have no problems with 7.1.1.

No, you don't.
Switch off the phone and keep it disconnected from the PC. Then follow the instructions in the post; once you have loaded the scatter file and selected Firmware Upgrade option in SP Flash Tool, press the Download button and then connect the device to the PC with the USB cable (keep it off!). The process will start; if it doesn't work, try again from the beggining. If still doesn't work, try again but select Download only instead of Firmware Upgrade.

... and keep it with 6.0, because it's clear than UMIDIGI has forgotten its Z Pro users and is only working on its new models.

i think you too money ! i bought umidigi z pro because i saw the spec. Good camera etc...at home, poor camera, my old samsung s3 made better, lots of bugg etc. For me 229 euros its a big money, and i want to have a phone who have ggod functionnaly. In fact the solution was to install another rom of umidigi clone, Noa H10 to have a phone who is not perfect but better. Where is the fast charge ? Perhaps at laboratory of umidigi, but not on my z pro in france. If i could i asked umidigi to refund my phone and buy a xiaomi ou samsung. Shame umidigi, like Verne with apolo lite the other phone i bought in china.

Just to clarify: installed Android 7 with Flash tool, did setup as new phone, no reinstallation, even with nothing extra installed on the phone, and the phone reboots. It was working okay for almost 12 hours, then plenty of reboots, even multiple times in a row.

Went back to Android 6, i have no issues with reboots, but there's a lot of other smaller issues on Android 6 that make it a bad experience.

I've temporarily switched to a Moto Z, but I still hope there's an Android 7 in the works that can make the UMI Digi Pro useful again.
