New to this brand. Thanks to Umidigi for offering good hardware at a fair price. I hate the mega corp phone monopolies.

Im very happy they included the case and screen protector. And happy they added the setting to turn off notch (like for Instagram, it cuts off).

Some issues and requests.

1) New members are not allowed to post threads? I think this harms community growth. It means new users arent able to post questions, to get answers. So the community does not grow as much.

2) Hope you can add the Navigation Key that looks like a down arrow (it goes next to the Home and Back keys).

It is on LG phones. When you press it, it brings down the notification window. This is very helpful on long phones.. and one handed use. All the keys are at the bottom (Home, Back, Navigation toggle), so we can easily keep our thumb at the bottom of the phone.

I tried an app. But it doesnt add the Navigation key function.

3) Please enable double tape to screen off/on. This would save time and reduce the need to grab the phone, which can lead to drops and breaks.

Can a moderator share any new info on any of the below issues/suggestions that were noted earlier:

#  Video recording with the rear camera is unusable. This is No.1 Priority. Videos turn out extremely jittery, shaky, and thus blurred.
#  With Duraspeed enabled, and in it for the apps that are toggled on, any Play Store update to any such app in the list will toggle the app off in Duraspeed, thus requiring its re-enabling.
#  Ability to customise the notification LED or at least reduce its interval or increase its glowing duration.
#  Scene mode in the Camera app is not saved after phone restart, and even after closing the camera app.
#  In the notification status bar, allow for additional icons to be shown next to time (to the left of the notch). This is No.2 Priority, in my opinion.
#  Upgrade to Android 9 Pie. (Important for users but also for the reputation of Umidigi as an internationally-oriented phone brand)
#  In Notification center (when you pull down once from the top), the space between quick toggles (wifi, bluetooth, etc) is too close to the Date and Settings icons below them, thus making it very difficult to successfully tap on the toggles.
#  Improve the Stereo (Bokeh - depth of field) photos using the rear cameras.
#  Update the security patch.

If I've missed anything, please feel free to add it in a subsequent post.

Can anyone help? I bought a One Pro for use in Europe, but apparently it comes without google and google play store. Is that right??

How do I download play store? And will its pay services work?

I'm a terrible technophobe, and would I need to change any other functions/settings?

Sorry for the basic questions, and appreciate any help or replies. I've asked them qs on twitter but they never reply ((

I don't know where from you got our devices!!!
All our devices coming with pre installed stock apps.
Please use SPFT and flash complet ROM.
Here is SPFT instruction (use firmware upgrade mode)

Latest OTA update was released with updated APNs and VoLTE table. This ROM contained  network settings reset command.

after a few days with the phone updated to the last ROM with SP flashtools ... today (10/01/2019) the phone gave me an OTA update ...

which to have UMIDIGI One Pro V2.0_20181208

Have they made me a downgrade? I do not understand anything.
