Still on Marshmallow. Any compelling reason to update to Nougat? Is it even working properly now?

Battery is still better on A6.

You should wait if you don´t care about last updates.

Hi Roland,

Thanks for your explanation. Unfortunately it didn't work out for me, so I ended up do ...

In fact if you know what you are doing a clean install and flashing the rom is always the best
With update the`re is always a risk that things can go wrong and bugs can stay behind.
I think i was lucky that everything worked fine, but i donwngraded again to andoid 6 because in my opinion it still works better as andoid 7
in fact android 7 has nothing extra to offer and is not a real new  operatingsystem but only a android 6 upgrade with some extra security features
The new comming android O will be a totally new operating system and phones will be almost twice as fast on the new coming android O as in 7 now

Edited by Karll7 at 2017-7-4 04:06 \n\nI'm satisfied with Android 7 in general..but there are some things that could be better.!!
- when battery reaches 15% after seconds the phone it's on 0 and turns off!!
- the camera software don't have manual configuration!!
- the charger it's fast but slower than A6!!
UMI see if you can fix this, pls!?

Upgraded to V7.01_20170607

Since then, car bluetooth (hfp) stopped working. Connection drops right after pairing phone with car. Factory reset done but with no success. Reboot: no success. Clear cache: no success...

Why on earth did some idiot mess up with this?????????????

- Try to fully charge the battery, then when it's on 100%, flash your phone with SP Flash Tool in firmware upgrade mode. You also can try to use the Battery Calibration app (or something similar) but its result is not guaranteed without root access.
- There are some manual controls available in pro-photo mode. Sorry but you can't expect anything more.
- The charging current was 1.0A at 12V in the Android 6.0 versions and now it's reduced to 0.8A to protect the battery against over-heating.

Hi, I noticed that after running the root permissions the phone overheats so much in charge as in everyday use, I had to reinstall the rom..

Comments

I seriously doubt any correlation between root and overheating Post time 2017-7-5 14:49

I wanted to ask if there is any better way to run root permissions without having any problems with that..
