Keep your phone connected, close and start again the app, then press and hold the power button of your phone until the app gets connected. Then release the power button and wait for the app to finish the process.

Received the file and flashed with success. Fingerprint working again. Thanks Ben. For those who are getting continious "wait soter", desable any of phone lock (Pin, Pattern etc.), then it works after 30sec.

Hello everyone, new user here. I have Umidigi One Pro.

I didn't read all 16 pages of this topic, just a few in the beginning.

Fingerprint sensor stopped working (didn't appear in the menus) after I rooted the phone. I DID NOT use format all + download option in SP Flash Tool. I am absolutely positive about this.

After the fingerprint option was gone, I used the Beanpod tool. With the received ActiveResponse.txt it worked and now I have the fingerprint option back.

I got "wait soter" message for about 30 seconds, after that the process ended successully in a few seconds.

The phone has to be unlocked - no security (PIN, etc).

So what partition does this app rewrite in the phone to restore the fingerprint ? Just curious
/data/thh/tee_00/thh.response, so I guess a simple file with /data/thh/tee_00/active_verify_ok success inside won't be enough. So no way to backup the fingerprint before loosing it? Because with sp flash it is possible to backup with readback a specific region in the phone and restore with write memory in advanced mode.

I did follow from instruction that many users provided in this forum. My phone, Umidigi Z2 Pro, successfully got into meta mode. No pin/password protection (set it to "none")
But I got Failure message all the time.

My log:

23:10:32 IMEI:35932XXXXXXXXXX, build date:20171009
23:10:32 IMEI:35932XXXXXXXXXX, Set phone into Meta mode
23:10:50 IMEI:35932XXXXXXXXXX, Set phone into Meta mode end
23:10:50 IMEI:35932XXXXXXXXXX, Connect to phone
23:11:02 IMEI:35932XXXXXXXXXX, Connect to phone end
23:11:03 IMEI:35932XXXXXXXXXX, Wait soter
23:11:03 IMEI:35932XXXXXXXXXX, Send command to generate req
23:11:04 IMEI:35932XXXXXXXXXX, Send command to generate req end
23:11:04 IMEI:35932XXXXXXXXXX, Read req
23:11:05 IMEI:35932XXXXXXXXXX, Read req error

How do I solve this issue?

Hello! Oh, our Guru! ))
I've purchased my phone from https://www.aliexpress.com/store/4089001   They are good people and try to advice me something, but there is no result.
I have some questions:
1. My problem is the absence of fingerprints sensor (*#*#33#*#* shows it and sensor's menu doesn't open). That shit happend after my trying to set phones's guard code. FromTheBox!!! I've tried to set guard code, but can't to confirm what I typed before. But after reaload phone asked it again. Do U know what I'm talking about? I'll ever advice that feeling to everebody. ADB and SPTF deleted VERY IMPORTANT AREA. Very useful information, and HOW I should know about it BEFORE??? I hope does it will work with my Z2 Pro? I'll had to try.

2. After trying to select any USB port of BB (only 4 main, not extended) the picture is still the same:

22:52:09 IMEI:0123456789ABCDEF, Wait soter
22:52:09 IMEI:0123456789ABCDEF, Send command to generate req
22:52:09 IMEI:0123456789ABCDEF, Send command to generate req end
22:52:09 IMEI:0123456789ABCDEF, Read req
22:52:10 IMEI:0123456789ABCDEF, Read req error

WTF, and how I can solve it?

3. So, I hope to get FOR FREE solution for my Z2 Pro. There is no reason to dance around for USD 300 device.
Generally: one week for patience.

Thanks for advance!
