I think u got lucky, because I tested this again and could confirm. If i let my GPS on high precision the battery drain in 2 ou 3 hours, with the screen off in my desk.I stil didn't try the methods to try to make the GPS work, but i'll try and post here again.

Hello, sorry I can't open a new thread but I have a serious issue with my crystal (2/16). It restarts itself randomly, while I'm on the phone or browsing the internet. What can I do?

Please check for updates and then perform factory reset.

Thanks but I already did that and the phone is still rebooting randomly.. 3 time today already! Do you have another solution ?

Another option is to use SPFT and flash complete ROM

Don´t know where to write this:

I think I found 2 anoying and dangerous security faults.
Fingerprint sensor works randomly with other fingers or even my leg or wrist.
When viewing the lock screen, if the mobile phone enters battery save mode it will unlock itself automatically.

In my opinion both of them are really serious.

Today (11.12.2017) I made on two phones the new update OTA. The result is, both phones are dead. No function anymore. No possibility to switch it on or to make an update.

Yep you got it right, the latest update is dud. It renders my phone to just being blank. No notification light even when connected to the charger.

Appreciate all members to post their issue relating to the latest update on the new thread that I have created titled "CRYSTAL OTA Latest firmware update" so we can pool the customer input and moderators/UMIDIGI feedback on the same thread for easy referencing.

I'm not sure they can "fix" the awful GPS / compass / gyroscope as they seem to be hardware issues.

I would guess that the crystal doesn't have a real compass or gyroscope, only fake software ones.

It's funny they have a "Crystal antenna testing" thread before launch - if they really did test, they would have noticed that the GPS / wifi antenna situation is dire, no?

Then of course we still have the camera that won't focus and awful white balance. And the fake 5mp secondary :/
