Sorry guys but no news yet about a new beta version or the final release. I request info every day.

Hi Ben.

Where is the OTA update?... You say that you will push it in the second week of December.

What is going on? Please tell us.

Have a nice day.

Hi,

What I said as a representative of the company (not my own statement) was the following: ''...we will start pushing android 7.0 FOTA to SUPER and MAX users, which should be finished by the end of the second week of January.''  So that was in conditional mode, meaning a definite plan but not an unconditional promise. The engineers are working, of course. We already have a fully working Android 7.0 release for the Plus and an almost fully working version for the Super, so I hope, it's visible. To make something done in time first in the world (Android 7.x on an MTK phone) is hardly perfectly predictable.

I have a question: can I flash with local update a firmware who's named only SPFT (no OTA)? For example the V3.02_20161121 ROM - SPFT release? Some users say is better than wifi update and the risk of heavy bugs like the crazy fingerprint scanner is less.

Well I did that update and can say that the screen responds better to touch. The super works OK but in my case the fingerprint scanner is still nuts. I would still advice to do it.
