You 're kidding, right? There are much better Chinese phones for this price or even under $100, you don't need Apple or Sammy! The eMax costs $150 and it's really bad!! I feel so lucky that I won this phone from a contest and I didn't pay a single dollar for this... I wish it had an MTK chipset, at least I could fix some problems, but with the Snapdragon it's impossible... There is no other ROM for the eMax to try, this is the only one?

Is there a way to download an EFS partition ??

Here's one: umi_emax_mini_TWRP_ESF_backup.rar
Make a twrp backup, replace the original ESF file by this one and perform a restoration.

I did it exactly as an introduction, but unfortunately I still have no reception :-(

Flash this update again if you haven't done it yet after restoring the ESF file. Check your IMEI numbers by dialing *#06#

Sorry, but if you update a phone with Rootjoy, you lose all your apps and data, so Rootjoy is not a solution to avoid that. Moreover, eMAX mini is not compatible with the Rootjoy app, you can use this flashtool here to update your phone.

No this flashtool can install only the embded content.

Thank you! Sooo if I got you right, I still lose my data either way? If so then I'll stay with this version.

Also here (http://community.umidigi.com/thread-1374-1-1.html) you mentioned that rootjoy now supports emax mini too. So is it supported or not?
