When is the next Update scheduled for the Z2 Pro? Fixing ALL the Stability Issues that have been reported here multiple times?

I love the fact how moderators delete my post.. thought we have freedom of speech,. But I guess you like to silence the people to your own convenience.. way to go..

Yeah instead of simply providing the next Update and beforehand tell us when we can expect that, but i guess thats too easy.

Hi BB,

Thx for the reply first of all. I would maybe try SPFT, but I have Win 10 and the drivers do not work at all.
I can tell you that when trying to update via OTA from recovery, the phone said something like "can not access file system". That sound familiar? Any way to troubleshoot the error?
Or maybe do you have/know never drivers that work with the latest version of Win 10?

It's bit of a trick to install MTK drivers under win 10, I managed with the information as in the link below.
If you got it working installing a ROM is easy.

Thx mate, appreciate the gesture!

Knew about the unsigned workaround, and might consider giving it a shot at one point, but wanted to ask the admins here if there is a "normal people" way of doing it. I cant see any non IT educated people going through this, and in a way I would prefer people liking this phone, I like it a lot, versus seeing these hickups and giving up on the phone.

Enjoy your day!

Hi BB,

One more clarification needed if you please:

The first section of every post with a new ROM states:

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMIDIGI Z2 Pro if the standard method doesn't work.
It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop
1. Connect your UMIDIGI Z2 Pro to USB.
2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.
3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.
4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

Does this work without installing the drivers, or must one install them, or try to? I would assume without, but would appreciate  your response.

Thx!

Hi BB,

One more clarification needed if you please:

After many attends of installing the MTK and work arounds, that was the only way I was able to flash the ROM.. so you
should try it either way
