When will you update S2 Lite , are you going to do it?

The Android 8.1 upgrade is in progress but according to the latest news, it might be postponed until September. No beta version is available at the moment.

Again postpone?
It is already the 3rd time that it is postponed. I was happy that it was less than we are in July and now until September?
A postponement can be understood, but already so many...

Ok, but if it was already developed, they could launch a beta, what they do not want is to do it.

A separate question.

I have an app that takes me out many times in the log:

Trim_Memory_Ui_Hidden
Trim_Memory_Running_Critical
Trim_Memory_Running_Low
Trim_Memory_Moderate
Trim_Memory_Complete

This is from Ram memory, right? Even if it's the Ram, it's 85% free

Then others:

main app created
bg app created
bg srvc created
boot completed
reset last active app usage vars
bg srvc created in fg mode, scr on
IAB: err, Billing service unavailable on device. (3: Billing Unavailable)

This is something worrisome and why does it happen to me the locks and restarts, or does it have to do?

How many more will postpone the update, if you do not inten ...
Tetrys, but what happens to you with the mobile, what problem do you have?
I do not remember if I have read a problem previously.

If you intend to sell it, do not wait, if it is not safe either for September or the new year at this step ... If it were safe, it would be officially notified.

In my case it's because I'm not doing well, I have locks and restarts the more I use it and I get windows of "has stopped working" several apps; those of the system and those that I install. I'm using it but with few apps and having some disabled.

I do not make a refund with the seller because I risked buying it from Honk Kong, and they would surely make me pay for the shipments, and I do not want to pay more for this mobile.
That's why I'm waiting for Oreo, but if it had a correct functioning, I did not care about the wait.
So, if I'm not going to solve anything, in September when I can, I look at a Xiaomi, I already have one and it works very well for me

What I know, from Android 8.1 Google needs a special hardware identifier for GMS verification to avoid devices with ported/custom ROMs to get a native verification. Phones with ported/custom ROMs still can get GSM verification but users have to register their devices here: https://www.google.com/android/uncertified/
This requirement had not been known when the S2 Lite was released, or Google notified only its exclusive partners.
To add that hardware ID needs to re-engineer the motherboard, and that situation causes this great delay. Until it's not possible to ship new S2 Lite handsets with Android 8.1 with hardware level GMS verification, the 8.1 development won't be finished and may not even reach a beta level. Now you can guess, even when the 8.1 upgrade will be available for download, users upgrading from 7.0 will have to register their phones, since without the required HW ID the subsequently upgraded Android 8.1 will work as a ported/custom ROM.

RE: UMIDIGI S2 Lite V1.0_20180402 ROM - SPFT + OTA release

I have had the S2 LITE for about 2 weeks now, I am on V1.0_20180402 ROM. So far I have been happy with the phone (I go this after i dropped my UMI MAX) so this is not my first umidigi phone. The gps, phone, wifi work pretty well i haven't noticed anything to complain about here.  But, I have 2 issues that I would like to ask about:
1. when i use headphones (using the provided 3.5mm adapter), the music/sound is constantly pausing, and I have to constantly re-start the podcast, song, whatever. I just doesn't work. Is that an issue just with the adapter, or with the phone? I don't have bluetooth or type C headphones yet...
2. A bigger issue, the phone seems to reboot every morning. I leave it on the charger overnight, and after removing it in the morning, it works fine but then after around 45 mins, it seems to reboot. And NO i do NOT have it scheduled to do that. It only does it ONCE a day, after that initial reboot it is fine all day.

Anyone else had these issues? Apologies if they have already been covered.
