So far I have all the latest updates. The microphone of the mobile phone is not working properly. When I record my voice with the original Android Voice Recorder, the volume is okay. For example, if I record a voice message with Whatsapp, my voice is very, very quiet and barely audible. I was able to verify and confirm this with the Phone Check app. Probably the problem is with Android.

Ok, i have tried this. GPS Connection is slower then, but also fix in about 20 seconds.

I test the GPS and: yes, I have a signal after a while, BUT the navigation is still a catastrophe. unusable. My point in the map jumps from street to street, points in the wrong direction, and calculate permanent a new route.

It happens the same with me. I have the GPS signal, fix in few seconds and in the majority times he's strong. More or less 8 satellites are used. But, indeed, the navigation is terrible! When I use waze or google maps to drive, for example, the device dont maintain a conection with the satellites and my localization jumps to the another points and streets everytime, not being able to walk through on a determinate route. Unfortunately, this occurs always.
So, I request to UMIDIGI to make this correction, to make the Crystal a totally usable device. The last update fixed a lots of bugs, but a few still present to be worked.
Please, dont stop to release the updates and dont leave us without your support.

Hi, I also hook up to the last post regarding the operation of the GPS, this when it is activated does not always start to fix, when part is also fast but the satellite signal hooked up is very unstable, everything makes navigation impossible, I hope in a future update that makes it usable at 100% maybe with the compass implementation to improve navigation.

Has anyone managed to connect to an Android Wear watch, before and after this update, it still won't connect.
Stalls on connecting from watch to phone.

\n\nUsing the Cystal with the 20171023 update, there has been an improvement on the screen transition but I have a feeling that is about it.

a) The SoC utilization is still not optimize fully with loading primarily on a single 1.0GHz core while all the balance 3 X1.0GHz  and 4 X1.5GHz core is not even use at optimum level. Why is it so?

\n\nI also realize that the WIFI is not functioning intermittently. More I guess is that the WIFI connectivity is being limited by the firmware as possibly to improve battery life or reduce SoC temperature.

a) i realize that amongst my 3 android devices while connected to the same WIFI, the Crystal most times do not notify of incoming email messages, although notification has been setup accordingly on the email app.
b) When you switch OFF and ON the WIFI on the Crystal, all a sudden a rush of notifications arrives.
c) When using the MTK Engineering app, WIFI connectivity test is not possible.





Please review this WIFI issue as notification is critical is getting timely messages on the device.

By the way, I cannot find the WIFI scanning setting in the device. Can anyone point to where to set WIFI not to scan continuously?

Well I cannot have my Jabra Stealth connected via the Jabra Assists App for messaging readout. But the Jabra Stealth can only connect to Bluetooth for call and sound. In my UMI Super, the Jabra Assist App connects to my Jabra Stealth.
