Hi. My serial number is gone. It apears 123456789abcdef. How to recover.

I bought a new phone (umi z) bit i'm face more problema than i never had with my old phone. Its look line de are purchasing a broken phone. Less than one Monty with it and all these problema. Touch id wont work , screen rotation GPS, battery and when you instruct to flash a clean ROM the imei num and the serial disapear

Worked perfectly on android 6 stock rom....
disnt work under 7.0
strange was that after flash from 7-6 my imei was lost 111111/22222 but phone worked fine.
tried all kind of tools liek chamelophon but got worse...
now i repaired with snwriter and ok.

Hello,

I have a problem. I did every step but nothing heppened. In the last step i didn`t see PASS or FALSE. Th window which i see is - IMEI1 and IMEI 2.

What is the problem?

Hello, I've just registered to say thank you. Not an UMI user, but this tutorial found through a Google search and applied successfully to another Mediatek phone is the best I've found by far.

Check in Windows device manager whether a Preloader COM port appears for a few seconds after connecting your powered off phone to USB. You might need to reinstall the drivers.

Algo más fácil es entrar en el teclado
*#*#08#*#* y poner el IMEI guardar.

Something easier is to enter the keyboard * # * # 08 # * # * and put the IME, and save
