Hi.  I wonder if someone can answer me with some clue.  I do not get any OTA updates on both of my Umidigi C2. Both have the automatic update option On and  are still on the factory software version 1.2 from July and both showing it as the latest/current version when update checker is run by me.  But from this forum I know that there were already two September ota updates since, the v1.4 and v1.5.   
Any ideas why my phones don't get the updates?
I bought the phones from Gear Best and use them in UK since 4th September if this helps.

Hi,
my C2 doesn't upgragde via Ota like yours. i had to upgrade it downloading the two rom version (1.4 and 1.5) and do it manually ( i chose to do it through SP_Flash_Tool).
At this moment some bugs have been fixed, (1.5 v) but camera has still poor quality and slow focusing....

How is it possible to disable some advertising that appears after screen unlock? I don't know if they coming from Touchpal or other programs but i hate those and force me to swipe again on the screen to enter the phone!!!

Indeed, some bugs are fixed.

Still i encounter some issues.
Occasionally, while using the phone, the phone skips to a black screen with clock.
For what i understand, it is the clock you would see when using a smart cover.
But i'm not using any cover.

And i'm really hoping for camera improvements.
Focus is way of (except short range) and therefore poor quality.

And camera-app could use a major upgrade.
Some very basic items aren't available
For example, no panorama or sport modus, no timer?!
Build a proper app, please!!!!

Phone is OK, but could be so must more......

UMIDIGI please can you give us ETA for Google Contacts Sync fix? Since the latest update (it is about 3 weeks now) I am not able to save new contacts correctly.
If you know any workarounds please tell us.

Нстройки-управление разрешениями-управление запуском от имени приложений-( нажимаем на три точки в верхнем провом углу) системные приложения-включаем синхронизация контактов Google ( советую включить все проложения от Google)

Does anyone know why Skype on UMIDIGI is intermittent in terms of updating and showing notifications?
I have another phone with a regular Android and notifications come up just fine, but on C2 it is not the case, if I go to Skype I can see that it is frozen and suddenly updates all the conversations, but of course this is already too late as I have missed everything.

Please note Skype is ticked in Protected applications so it should have access to battery all the time.
