After 2 weeks with 20170710 version, I can say there are no random reboots (!!!)
But ..... major problem for me is the touch screen - it is hard to response (sometimes 2 or 3 touches needed) and top scrolling needs very slow finger movement to be opened.
Other issues:
- camera - needless to say ... like 10 years ago
- bluetooth gets closed if not used for sometime
- no bluetooth state memory (after reboot it is always turned off)
- no message counter on application symbols (I think it was the same on previous version)

Thought this phone is a "flagship killer" - but disappointed
Waiting for a much better support from UMIDIGI (why won't you release the source code ?)

Thanks for the clear update.
It's obvious that this rom is not perfect but good enough for daily use.

Thanks for this update, it has improved my phone:
Broken sound has improved
Removed some *retro* features that I didn't like: sound profiles and battery saver, which conflicted with built-in Android features.

I like the phone even more now.  Photo quality is the same, of course - because it's the quality of the lens that makes the photo, how could anyone expect it to improve after an Android update?

Compared to Marshmallow - yeah it is I mean I'm glad it shipped with MM because I would seriously think this phone is completely bad but on mm battery and camera are pretty good, RAM management is also not bad
But Nougat is just not finished, they need to really optimise the rom and add some new features

Edited by JHB_1100 at 2017-7-31 21:53 \n\nOkay....
Made the update to Nougat yesterday.
First I made a full factory reset of my phone (before flash) from recovery.
After that I flashed android 7 with SPflash tool, after the flash the first boot was again into recovery.
Made another factory reset from recovery.
Then with the first setup I skipped all the google things
I made a mobile connection with a new LTE supporting Sim Card and formatted the sdcard as an internal and rebooted again.
After that I started to setup my phone as a new device.
None of the issues described above are here and it's running flawless...... My opinion on the whole Nougat story is: be patient.

Edited by maxvp at 2017-7-31 23:02 \n\nUMIDIGI Z Pro V7.01_20170710 Android 7.1.1 ROM:
- battery drain,
- BT, GPS, 3G/4G does not work properly,
- the notification bar is difficult to access, the touch screen is not well calibrated,
- average camera, etc.
I think the best choice is currently the last NOA H10 rom (MM, so Xposed, lucky patcher work wery well...)
Unfortunately umidigi can not solve the task, but the Croatians succeeded...
