UMIDIGI Z V7.01_20170601 Android 7.1.1 ROM - SPFT + OTA release

After that upgrade to 7.1 my Umi Z sucked!
Every app is crashing, every time I have to close the apps because they crash, (FACEBOOK, WHATSAPP, YOUTUBE AMONG OTHERS)
Also, my screen has a reddish tint, and all the photos I shoot, it gets a warm tone!
Get it sorted out please, because with Android 6.0 you did not have these bugs.
How can I indicate the brand of you to my friends from Brazil, since my device has several bugs?!

Please flash this update with SP Flash Tool as I requested to do it before reporting any issues.

Despues de realizar el update con SP Flash Tool, todo continua igual de mal, no hay cambio entre wifi y datos moviles y la señal gsm tanto 4G como 3G se pierde en cuanto cruzas una puerta.
adjunto foto de un Umi Super con android 7.0 y el Umi Z con la ultima actualizacion.
los dos de la misma compañia de telefono - Vodafone
los dos con elmismo nivel de bateria +-
los dos en el mismo sitio.
pues como veis uno tiene 4G y el otro no mantiene la señal de 3G, es mas ni la encuentra.
asi pues la solucion de update desde SP Flash Tool no sirve para nada seguimos con el mismo problema, esperemos que pronto den una solucion.

It's a very normal behavior if you're staying in a poorly covered area, especially if you're staying indoors. The 3G signal is broadcasted on a higher frequency, that has a lower range, so if your phone switches from 4G to 3G due to the unstable 4G signal, the 3G signal can be even weaker. Just move to a better covered place. The attached photo shows a Z and a Super side by side, both with the latest build version and on Vodafone network.

Creo que no estas entendiendo nada de lo que esta pasando desde la ultima actualizacion de los Umi Z aparte de otros problemas que esta reportando la gente hay que sumar este.
No me refiero a que en zona de buena cobertura el Z no tenga cobertura, el problema es que cuando entras en una zona de media cobertura el Z la pierde por completo ya sea 4G o 3G y no la recupera hasta que vuelves a una zona de maxima cobertura, en cambio el Super mantiene la cobertura bajan do una o dos rayas pero la mantiene.
Creo deberias de informarnos como va el parche para solucionar la gran cantidad de errores que tiene la ultima version en vez de tratar de explicarnos como funciona un movil y la señal 3G, 4G, GSM, GPRs y demas, por lo siguiente: si tengo un movil que funciona OK y envias una actualizacion y lo conviertes en un ladrillo con pantalla, por lo menos deberiais de informar a la gente de una solucion temporal hasta que termineis con el parche para arreglar la situacion, es decir proporciona a la gente una forma sencilla de hacer un downgrade a una version anterior funcional, esto ya lo solicite a principio de semana.
¿PODEMOS INSTALAR LA ULTIMA VERSION DE ANDROID 6?
¿LA VERSION 20170412 INSTALADO CON SP FLASH TOOLS HACE DOWNGRADE Y FUNCIONA?
Seguimos esperando una contestacion a las preguntas y una solucion a la actualizacion.

I think you are not understanding anything that is happening since the last update of the Umi Z apart from other problems that are reporting people have to add this.
I do not mean that in a good coverage area the Z does not have coverage, the problem is that when you enter a zone of half coverage the Z loses it completely either 4G or 3G and does not recover it until you return to a zone of Maximum coverage, while the Super maintains the coverage lower than one or two stripes but maintains it.
I think you should inform us how the patch is going to solve the many errors that have the latest version instead of trying to explain how a cell and 3G signal works, 4G, GSM, GPRs and others, for the following: if I have a Movil that works OK and you send an update and you turn it into a brick with screen, at least you must inform the people of a temporary solution until you finish with the patch to fix the situation, that is to give people a simple way To make a downgrade to a previous functional version, this already requests it at the beginning of the week.

In my case after update (7.1.1) I have the following problems:

-Battery: it drain extremely fast.

-Charging: there isn´t quick charging. Takes many hours to charge the phone.

-Wi-Fi: the Wi-Fi settings keep getting forgotten and the phone can not find any accessible networks. The Wi-Fi is VERY slow. Wi-Fi lose signal and you have to restart the phone to have connection.

- Data: after using Wi-Fi,it won´t connect through mobile data unless you restart the phone.

- Call volume: it is too low.

- After a call, the proximity sensor doesn't light the screen.

- Some apps like twitter and Facebook suddenly stops responding for several seconds. Phone heats up while this is happening. The solution is a reboot.

- Live photos don’t work it stops working.

- Sliding down the notification panel causes a black screen (this doesn't happen on the lockscreen). It is horrible.

I don't think there are problems with my intelligence but
1. I can't reproduce your issue (never), although I checked it on 3 different network (Vodafone, Telekom, Telenor)
2. I can't check your own testing environment.
Please try to discover which 3G and 4G bands are used in your specific area and share the info here. You also can try to hard reset your phone by pressing all the 3 side buttons together until your device turns off. Then reboot it and check if anything has changed. Don't worry, you won't lose your user data.
The developers are aware of some mobile network issues related to some specific networks and they're working on the solution.
You can flash any earlier ROM versions with SP Flash Tool but if you downgrade the Android version as well, you have to flash (overwrite) each partition ('firmware upgrade' mode is recommended), you have to wipe (overwrite) the userdata partition as well, or you'll get unlimited app crashes. In summery, don't keep your user data if you downgrade your Android version.

Battery is working up to 2 days and most time 1.5 days for me.
I can charge phone in 2H and 20 minutes.
Low volume you can adjust in engineering mode (please look in other threads how to change)

Please flash this ROM with SP Flash Tool in firmware upgrade mode and most of your issues will be fixed. It's also highly recommended not to restore your saved app settings from your google account or by any other way, but install and setup your apps again, even if that needs a long time.
If you want to use the live photo feature, set the internal memory as default write disk to make your photos saved onto the internal memory. This SD card handling issue will be fixed in a later update if it's possible.

Para que entiendas mi situacion, con android 6.0 todo funcionaba perfecto con la actualizacion aparecieron todos esos problemas.

• no hay cambio automatico de wifi a datos moviles
• nivel muy bajo de señal 4G y 3G
• perdida constante de señal 4G y 3G sin recuperacion, hay que reiniciar.
  

asi pues solo me queda esperar al parche de reparacion de la actualizacion

OK segun parece tendremos que esperar al parche que arregle la actualizacion. ¿tenemos fecha aproximada?.
