You are a lucky guys! My advice is do not update your Umi phones to Android 7. It will cause a lot of troubles and some devices can not even be downgraded back to Android 6.

I'm not lying. After flashing any Android 6 ROM with SPFT the screen is blank, no matter what I'm trying - Download only, Format all+download and etc. And seems that I'm not the only one. There is at least few more people reporting the same issue. I guess we are all liars?

A lot of people have downgraded to Android 6, not only you. But for some of us it not possible by the known methods. Also there are many people who haven't problems with TWRP, but for some it doesn't work. To root the device I had to install the moded TWRP with no working touch screen, and after that installing SuperSU through adb shell. Obviously some of the devices are not the same like the others.

When I heard that there is new update released from UMI, I also heard a lot of trouble occured after updated.
UMI one step forward and two or three step backward.

I'm thinking about downgrade to 6.0 as well. Battery drain is really annoying.

i've also downgraded without any problem from android 7. did you use the firmware option on spft?

Hello,
I'm a UMI Plus user updated with your last V7 android.
And i've a problem with Android auto application V2.0.6.
When I connect UMI Plus with USB to my car for using this application and App-connect car's application, UMI Plus is not recognized.


For information, other smartphones works very well with App-connect application.


Con you help me with this problem ?
