Current bugs on UMI Super

Never saw the 4g displayed... Maybe because my carrier doesn't use the 800mhz band?
(using SIM slot #2)

This is my worst bug: the call volume goes up and down, being unable to hear. This makes that I can not use the phone

Lack of sensitivity on the screen.

Minor errors I've additionally indentified:
1. Playlist (Album) in standart player has black font on dark grey backround - impossible to see anything.
2. When entering in Options - About phone - Update, and the quickly press hardware button "Back" several times, Umi opens Camera app.
3. Bass Loudness in Audio enhancements influence only Ring Call and Media. But Notifications remain still very quiet, w/o any effect.

Other bugs are common
- yellow photos
- very slow and inaccurate autofocus. Noisy camera pictures
- not showing contact picture when calling
- low volume of the speaker

Hello...

Im so disapointed with UMI support right now...
No news, no firmware and just silence...

This phone is ridle with problems, and there are very grave problems, like the conflicting networks, that render the phone useless... Instabilitiy of the mobile data, doesnt allow for a correct fuctioning of the internet services...

Also many more problems need fixing...
I need a stable and functioning phone for my day to day business and this is such a shame...
I will give UMI SUPER one more week to see if UMI releases a new firmware... if not, i will send this back and purchase another phone from other brand...

We need some solutions to the bugs.

So far no feedback to those who bet on UMI SuPER .

Querying the Internet is easy to observe a negative history . I hoped that there had been some changes of posture by UMI .

Regarding the bugs you mentioned I would like to make some feedback about it.

After a few weeks using my UMI SUPER I can still see some of issues that are annoying me so much, and I would like you to confirm if it is just my device or yours as well. Since last rom its been flashed I still notice:

1. In phone APP (NOT CONTACTS) only sim contacts can be found using the search engine.
2. Off course camera is not as well as promised in the ads, so I hope UMI will fix this.
3. GPS is not working well in Google Maps, However using WAZE gets some better.
4. Battery is still draining so fast for a 4000 mAh battery.
5. Ultra fast charging : I think this is not working , I have checked the charging connecting an USB amperimeter and not voltage above 5V is displayed. It takes so long to fully charged the mobile phone supposing it is an Ultra charging device.
I have test it with 3 different charger and cables.

6. turning on the screen when it is suspended several times take so long, above 5 seconds long in order to been able to see a thing on the screen.



I think UMI have to work a lot on the SW part, because there are a lot of things that should work but they dont, and for a 180 € device it is a must they work.  


Any feedback about the ultra fast charging thing and the unlocking from sleep?

off course I forgot to mention, no possibility to set battery percentage on top bar and no possibility to choose more default apps.

Still no word from UMI....

The problems keep coming back, and nothing to be said from their support team...
Last time i got so bad support was from another chinese brand called OPPO.

What a garbage that product was...

I try to give these brands a chance, but i keep coming disappointed...
Guess if i can´t get this SUPER working like it should, im going to send it back next week...

UMI are looking at HUGE losses and brand devaluation due to a loss in confidence.
The so far apparent disinterest in opening a dialogue with us the customers is unacceptable, we seem to be considered as important as their QA testers, at least those two old ladies got paid, we actually paid to be their BETA testers, someone must have saved a fortune on our willingness to jump at sharp advertising.

Umi won't survive if they don't fix the issues with this phone. But lack of communication with customer pisses them off. It is quite sad that Umi is killing their name. Anyhow, they got the money from me. But I recieved a subpar phone with bad camera.
