Also, can you guys put the Record option back into the phone app?  

This was on the F2 in earlier ROMs but then taken off.  I don't know why it was removed.  It allowed for recording phone calls, and it worked perfectly.

Hello, I'm having issue with my F2 for months now... first it was the microphone not working, could hear people but they could not hear me, the only way to make calls was to connect a headset or via bluetooth in the car... then it started working fine until I flashed on this version, now microphone isse is occuring again... sometimes...

But the most annoying is the screen, I've my screen freezing 4-5 times per hour, I need to lock/unlock the phone, and sometime it freezes again while typing my pin, so I have again to lock/unlock it... missing calls because of that non-working screen, and I don't even talked about games...

I loved that phone during 1-2 months, then issue started to be a real nightmare... opened tickets with the support, didn't get so much help, got no answer via email... not sure what to think about that brand and the way they 'manage' their customers...

For the 2nd time in the life of this piece of beef I get a hard lost mic after an securitu monthly update from google puto... no mic sound in phone / camera / or apps... so I repeat the process as Buffle say in page 5 as unselected hey puto / puto assistant / use bluetooth google recording puto but unsuccessfully... so I try another thing because I get the mic only in my car BT and with my filed headset plugged in 3.5 jack
So I just add an google puto account and let the headset plugged and reboot and the mic came back !!!

Solution fix issue umidigi F2 Go to setting Search for do not disturb Turn on do not disturb Go to setting Search default assist app Disable Google Assistant Select none Restart the phone Go to settings Search for default assist app Select Google yes. Enable Google Assistant.

Press the home button on your Android phone in the center tap. Say something to the microphone.

Microphone Umidigi F2 Issue resolve.

This work 100% all the time. If this issue reappear. Please follow the instruction above.

Cause of this issue. This problem due to the design of this software that when Google Assistant hijack the microphones from this device because the software on the Google Assistant takes the microphone permission first and lock the permission before the system can enable for the microphone.

Therefore the system microphone are unable to access the microphone to enable it. Which the result cause the microphone to my malfunction not working.

Actualice mi celular Umidigi F2 a traves de la OTA via wifi a la version V1.0_20200506.V3.17 y el microfono del celular dejo de funcionar..
ahora actualicé a la version inicial V1.0_20191205.V3.04 y el tactil deja de funcionar...las roms presentan errores al momento de usarlas.
UMIDIGI debe corregir todos los errores y generar una nueva rom posterior a la V3.17

surprisingly, now the camera app is gone, even the fingerprint yet... I tried return the rom versions but have no success... TWRP can't access the folder /system to instal another custom rom. Did anyone know how to install another ROM? Like LineageOS for example?

For the camera problem, I can't fix it.., abot the camera fled.. it happens because of the security system that is not being updated anymore and there is no possibility to do this manually, when we update the google WebView from google, the google app itself "erases" these settings from the cell phone. .. don't update the app, it should work...

Despues de tener el Umidigi F2 como pisapapeles al final encontre la solucion de como arreglar el micro y que me lo reconociera el PC gracias a un video que vi en Youtube pude solucionarlo y de momento me va genial, y quiero compartirlo con ustedes y quiero que comenten si les funciono, la solucion es muy sencilla.
