Hello Guys... I m not sure how come the dust has entered inside the upper glass covering the front camera.. the camera functions but is giving a very grainy pic which turns out to be useless.
Anyone else facing the same thing? Is there any solution or way to get that cleaned up?
Hi
We came cross to such issue in one of users. This happened during using not genuine phone cover caused electrostatic fields and push dust in cover.
If dust is already in camera unit is only one solution. You need open phone to remove dust.
Of course you can try use antistatic brushes etc
You need a 0.8mm pentalobe screw driver an a little piece of Tape.
The device can be opened easily. Clean the lens. You will see that there is a gap between camera an loudspeaker. This was designed pretty bad. But put a small piece of tape on this gap and the problem will be fixed. Time for this 5-10 minutes.
Just blow some air in the speaker grill, it should do the trick.
You should never blow air into a smartphone.
You maybe can remove the dust from the camera,
but the dust can settle on other components and cause other errors.
I am not using any cover on it and I am facing the same problem. So much dust in front camera glass...This is not normal. It never happened before to any phone I had. It is cover by warranty?
