I recently had an accident with my Z Pro and it had some water damage and now the screen has stopped working. I know that water damage is not covered by warranty. But I would like to know if it is possible for me to pay for a fix or replacement and recover data from the old device?
Please, serious replies on data recovery only. Don't give me suggestions on how to save a water damaged phone, I've already tried everything to save it and nothing works.
The question is there screen damaged or something bigger as motherboard. If there is motherboard damage you can't do nothing about but if only screen you should buy new screen and recover phone. Also due to water you could damage battery.
Please open phone disconnect battery, dry phone, reconnect everything and test. Also test connection to PC with screen connected and disconnected (if didn't worked)

Thanks MarcinP. As I'm quite new to all these, is there anyway I could send the device back to Umidigi for them to do all these for me? I don't mind paying for it. Who do I contact for these kind of repair on Umidigi phones?
Basically seller is taking warranty responsibility and if want can repair devices on customer cost if is out the warranty.
So you should ask seller.
I could fix this but shipping cost will be to high for you.
I can advice you to take your phone to any smartphone repairing centre or store and ask for diagnose and repair. If they don't have lcd then you can order your self and supply to repairing centre or store.
If you still cant find someone to recover you the data, search for someone near you that has this device: Riff Box.
It can access the memory chip directly, but requires to taking off the memory chip and it will probably kill your mainboard.

I did the hard reset and now when starting with the google imail account it does not recognize and says that for an unknown error try another account or wait 24 hours ....
already tried other accounts and I have waited 24 hours and continue to give the same message.
I've done hard reset again and it always gives the same problem.
