Umidigi Z Pro mobile internet problem - SOLVED

Hi!

I have a problem with my Z pro. My mobile internet wont stay connected in 4g when im using it and it throws itself to 3g randomly. Sometimes it goes back to 4g itself but sometimes I have to change the preferred network type to 3g and back to 4g, then it goes back. From the secret settings, if i put to LTE only then it will stay there but i cant make any calls because we use 3g for calls in our country. Any solutions?

There's nothing wrong about that behavior. Go to a well covered 4G area and your phone won't switch to a lower speed. Or if automatic switching between 3G and 4G annoys you, you can set the preferred network type to 3G/2G. You also can set the network mode to constant 4G (LTE only) in engineermode but you'll experience that, when its reception gets weaker (because you're staying at a badly covered area), 4G can be even slower and less stable than 3G.

I don't have problems with 4G (LTE) - everything is absolutely stable no droppings. My country is Bulgaria and 4G is at 1800Mhz. Probably you should provide your country and operator's frequency in case to help you. You can try replacing the SIM at your operator.

Excuse me but you're wrong. I have very strong 4G signal, but my phone switches to weak 3G signal. Once after a reboot i had stable, strong 4G signal for like half an hor but after that it dropped to 3g again with almost no signal at all.

I have a similar issue. My internet just wont stay connected. Its unusable. Please help solve the issue, mobile internet unusable.

Anyone? Why isnt the umidigi helping us out with these problems

Have you checked the access points settings?

What should i check there? Sim worked fine with last phone

Compare the network settings on this phone against the previous phone.
I had some parameters missing.

The damn problem is after I set up everything, it's reset when the phone is rebooted. That's the annoying part.

Not sure what you'll get though.

It just goes to 3g when 4g isnt that strong signal, and if u manually change preferences to 3g and back to 4g, it goes back to 4g.
