Umidigi Z Pro Touchscreen problems

Hi, I received my Umidigi Phone today.
I set up my google account and charged the phone with the supplied charger.
I then turned my phone back on and I am presented with the home screen and it says I need to swipe up.
I try to swipe but the screen just flickers. It is as if its recording a response that isnt there.
Plus, the phone screen wont turn off because of the phantom touches.
the phone also heats up alot.. and sometimes when trying to unlock the phone, it will just restart.

I havnt tried to flash the rom again because it goes against gearbest's return policy..

Any suggestions?
