UMI Z HDMI out

Hi,

I bought and HDMI out adaptater here http://www.banggood.com/UBS-3_1- ... .html?rmmds=myorder

But USB port won't works while charging and HDMI out never.

Does anybody could use an HDMI out adaptater works with UMI Z.
I wanna see movies on projector…

I think the USB-C in the UMI Z has just USB-2.0-properties.
As a result it does not have the capapility to transfer video signals.
The only way to transfer an image to a screen is by connecting it wirelessly.

The adapter you bought is mainly for current Macbooks and more expensive devices with USB-C (with graphics output capabilities).
I think the Question & Comments below the product are fake (Xiaomi Mi5s and UMI Plus E have no USB-C video output capabilities neither).
